What do you do in your day-to-day life?
I work as a graphic designer and I like to create my own projects on the side.
How long have you been involved in Community Theater, how long at BFACT?
I’ve been involved in small ways for a few years – like helping with the bake sale on show nights – but in 2023 I decided I wanted to get more involved!
What has been your favorite role to play?
Justice in Rock of Ages!!!
What keeps you coming back to BFACT?
I enjoy the casual vibe. It gets me out of the house and helps me feel more connected to my community. The energy during show week is really exciting!
What is your favorite part of BFACT?
I like that BFACT covers a wide range of show genres and ways to get involved! From the quirky, original one-acts to the large, classic musicals – the variety keeps it interesting and offers something for everyone’s style. I’ve tried doing lights, sound, set building, acting on stage, and helping with the bake sale. There’s always some way to feel connected to the group that works with my schedule.
Why did you join BFACT?
My partner was already involved and I was newer to the Belle Fourche area. Getting involved in BFACT helped me meet people, feel a part of the community, and get to do something fun and creative in my spare time. It also offered me an opportunity to learn new skills I was interested in.
