A Christmas Classic
Performed in a new kind of way
A Christmas Carol is one of the most recognizable and beloved Christmas tales written by Charles Dickens that tells the story of old miserly Ebenezer Scrooge who is visited by the ghost of his former business partner Jacob Marley and the spirits of Christmas Past, Present and Yet to Come. After his incredible Christmas Eve, Scrooge becomes a kinder, gentler man. First published in 1843 there have been many different versions over the years including in 1939 when Orson Welles performed it at the Campbell Playhouse. This year Belle Fourche Area Community Theater performed this version as a radio play on December 17, 2020.
