Writers Workshop

Have you always wanted to write a stageplay, to have it performed in front of an audience. Well, here is your chance. Join us for the 2024 BFACT Writers Workshop on Jan 30 and 31 at 7pm on the Belle Fourche Rec Center Auditorium Stage. Come for two days of workshops with published author Derek Olson, whose scripts have been performed in Belle Fourche, Lead and as far away as England. The workshops will focus storytelling for the stage, basic mechanics of stage plays, correct formatting, and more. If you have a script you have already started, bring the first ten pages with you. You can get specific critiques on it that you can take away and work on after the workshop concludes.
